Good Morning Adventure Photo Tours Manager,
During the week of November 20-24, my husband and I flew to Vegas for the first time.  We booked a tour to the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam for Tuesday, Nov 22.  We were met early in the morning by our tour guide Robin - he was fabulous - very knowledgeable, courteous and polite.  On our way back to Vegas from Arizona, my husband and I forgot our camera at a service centre.  Robin was more than willing to assist us in getting the phone number to the service centre and letting us use his cell phone.  We were able to secure our camera until the next day when another tour driving through the same area picked it up for us.  Later that night, Judy (UK last name) personally returned our camera to our hotel after her shift was done at 11 pm.
I have to commend both Robin and Judy in their professionalism and willingness to assist us in retrieving our camera case - not only did it contain our beautiful photos on the Grand Canyon/Hoover Dam - but also American money and my husband's photo ID - which could have caused us great grief in crossing the border, returning home to Canada.
We hope that Adventure Photo Tours will pass on our sincere thanks to Robin and Judy and commend them on a job well done!

On Friday, September 2, we took a tour with your company to Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park.  Arrangements were made through Janet at the Tour Desk of the Mandalay Bay.  Even though it was not the standard day for this trip, Janet worked with your office, and luckily a couple at the Flamingo was also interested in the same tour and we were all able to go.  Julian was our tour guide.

This was our third trip to Las Vegas.  Each time, we have booked several tours during our stay.  We were thoroughly impressed with both Julian and the tour.  He is an amazing person, and an asset to your company.  His knowledge and personality added so much to the trip.  Considering the length of the tour (15 hours), it could have been a Very long day.  Julian stopped to give us a chance to stretch our legs on the trip up and back.  He knew the best observation points.  His recommendations were wonderful.  We thoroughly enjoyed the trip, with a good deal of the credit going to Julian.

We have now used 6 different tour companies out of Las Vegas.  Not all of our experiences have been good.  We would rate your company and our experience as one of the best!  Thank you to both you and Julian!

In late June I took a tour to the Valley of Fire and Aaron Brown was our tour guide. We had an absolute blast. On June 26, 2005 we had the pleasure of going on a tour from Las Vegas Monte Carlo hotel and I myself alone with my mom and my aunt Z" had the best tour guide his name was Dave Alexander and I want you to know that he was the greatest we had a wonderful time with him and he knows his job, from about 7:30 to about 2:00 he was great we are looking forward to our trip out there next year so we can do the Grand Canyon tour on the helicopter I did the regular tour on the bus back in 2004 but Dave said it is a good flight to see the canyon fron the chopper. Hello there, my wife and I took a tour with you in November 04. Firstly it was fantastic, both the tour and our guide ( I believe he was called Rick) the reason I am emailing is that having looked on your website I cannot find the tour that we took. It when from the dam, route 66, Hackberry general store, indian reservation, canyon base, west rim, joshua tree forest. Do you still do the same tour. I think it was called Rim to base tour. I am pretty sure the guide was called Rick, he was an ex green beret who served in vietnam and had previsouly owned a goldmine (in fact it was still for sale) and he lived in Boulder city. Is he still there because I didn't see him on your pictures of your staff. We would be interested in the same tour or the Area 51 tour. So is Rick still there cus he was a fantastic guide.

I'm not sure who's attention to send this to but I wanted to take a moment to complement Adventure Photo Tours and our Guide, Ralph.  I understand Ralph is new to your company, just 4 months or so.  It shows in a great way...he likes what he is doing and wants us to enjoy the experience as much, if not more, than he does. 
During our stay in Vegas we took the West Rim Tour on October 26, 2004 and had a wonderful experience.  Ralph made sure we had a great time too.  It was the "extra" little things he did that made it an extra special tour.  He let us explore on our stops and let us know what kind of rocks and bugs we were seeing.  We actually had a large bus pass us as we entered the long dirt road..he pulled to the side of the road for a few minutes to let the "dust settle" from them so we would be able to something more than just their dusty trail.  He got excited along with us when we saw the Big Horn Sheep and the wild Mustang's along the side of the road.
He actually took part in our tour...became part of our group.  It was a great experience!

My husband and I (along with five other folks who rode with us) took the Grand Canyon tour on Saturday, November 6th.  Bruce Bezon was our tour guide/driver.  He was very knowledgeable about the canyon, the wildlife, the foliage, the Indian people, and the Nevada area's history, and he encouraged the group to ask any questions that we had.    In addition, he was very courteous and always made sure that everyone was having a good time.  Bruce took what could have been just another 'average' tour and made it into an 'adventure' that we will remember for a long time.    Kudos to Bruce!!!  We look forward to sharing another adventure with him on our next trip to Las Vegas!

just wanted to say thanks for giving us a great time on our tour. We just got home to the UK from Las Vegas where we took the Area 51 tour on Sept 22 with Jeff as our guide. These tours often succeed or fail according to the quality of the guide so it was a relief to have a guide with as much knowledge, character and sense of humour as Jeff does. The staff at the Little Ale'inn at Rachel also acknowledged Jeff as the best of the guides they see, though they wouldn't say that to his face ! My wife Jacky came on the tour in her fine walking shoes (Jeff's joke) to humour me but had a brilliant time herself. It was also nice to be in such a small group (5 + guide), rather than be herded like cattle. Great value too. Based on this experience I would recommend this tour, and your company to anyone planning a tour while staying in Vegas.

Thank you for an absolutely awesome experience!  The four of us took advantage of your suggestions and spent a wonderful day touring the Grand Canyon as part of the '4 for 1' tour you listed in your email. Jeff was an excellent guide!  Just the right mix of professionalism and light humor.  He made us feel welcome and he was eager to meet our needs.  And, as a bonus, he arranged for a small heard of big horn sheep to pose for a great series of pictures on the road down to the canyon floor.  We all appreciated the well-spaced bathroom stops, an endless supply of bottled water, and suggestions for great photo opportunities.  Additionally, Jeff's information about the canyon, rocks, and earth forces at work enabled us to better understand the ever changing environment we were able to visit.
Last year we traveled with Julian as our guide on a West Rim Tour which was also an exciting trip.  Now that we have shared photos with family and friends, our children are already asking when we are going to return to the canyon with them.
I will be sure to email when we are ready for our next trip and we will all sing the praises of Adventure Photo Tours when we discuss our trip.
For my wife and I this was a second trip that was different than our first tour with Adventure even though much of the terrain was the same.  For my sister and her husband, this was a first and they were so thrilled with every aspect of the tour.  It was very rewarding to relive our first visit to the canyon through their eyes.
Our best decision was to arrange a private tour of the canyon.  Having room to stretch in the Ford Expedition and being able to customize the experience to our needs was really a plus.  I would say it was the best value in the canyon.

I would like to tell you of the pleasant experience I had with your guide Anron Brown my name is Elizabeth Reneau and I was booked on red rock canyon tour which was cancelled due to I was the only person so they put me on the valley of fire tour and Anron told me I would enjoy this just as much we picked up another gentleman and 4 other people who it turns out thought they were on adventure atv tours they made it plain they did not want to be on our tours anron went out of his way to get them on the right tour as well as making sure it was ok with the rest of us going out of our way. when we got back to the valley of fire the road was flooded and we could not finish the tour so anron went out of his way called the office so we also went to red rock canyon and got to see the sights there too. I would just like to say that he turned what could have been a disaster into a very pleasant trip and I would book with him again and recommend high to my friends

Adventure Photo Tours;
On May 07 2004 I was pat of a group of six people who took the Grand Canyon Total Experience 6 in 1 tour.  Our tour guide was Matthew Holes.  I've been to Las Vegas several times in my life and have toured the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam and the Joshua Forest in the past, but none of the others compared the the tour I experienced.  The tour was awesome as were the sites, the helicopter and boat rides.  
The most memorable facet of the tour was Matthew.  The information he shared was unforgettable and there wasn't a moment in the tour that was uninteresting to me.  Even the truck rides there and back were action filled.  I learned alot of history about the Grand Canyon and it's surroundings. 
I could go on and on but I just wanted to take a moment and thank you and Matthew for a wonderful experience.  P.S.  If possible could you E-mail me Matthew's E-mail address?  He gave it to me on the tour but with all the action unfortunately I misplaced it.  I would really appreciate it.

Plain and simple, it rocked! Thank you, for making our experience a pleasure! Everyone has been so friendly.

On 4/27, we booked the Valley of Fire tour.  Our guide was Jeff Arba.  Putting aside the beauty of this area and all the knowledge Jeff supplied us with, the thing that I was impressed with the most, was Jeff's concern for his passengers.

Jeff reminded us to drink our water, and made sure we were comfortable inside the vehicle.  While walking through a pathway, my 81 year young mother-in-law informed Jeff that she needed to sit down.  Jeff immediately told her to stop and rest.  Jeff then walked over to my mother-in-law and took her hand and walked with her off the pathway.  I must tell you that impressed me more than anything else.

Jeff also noticed people walking through the path (non-tour people) without water.  Jeff immediately told them they need to get water before going any further.

Jeff is not only a wonderful tour guide, but he is a good human being.  Jeff truly cares about people and it shows.  I wish everyone, especially Jeff, continued success in the future.

I wanted you to know how much my family enjoyed the Grand Canyon 4 for 1 tour we took with your company on April 6, 2004.  Matt Holes was our guide, and he brought along Sal Ayoob, who was in training.

Matt, who is an excellent driver, provided my family with memories that will last our lifetime.  After lunch at the bottom of the canyon, Matt bumped into three burrows, which my family really enjoyed.  Although we didn't see snakes or scorpions, we were thrilled to dodge jackrabbits on our way to the West Rim of the Canyon!

Ok, so we hit a few puddles along the way, but what a great time we had! Naturally, Matt and Sal were knowledgeable, and they fit right in with our family... a little bit goofy.  My family had such a good time traveling with Matt and Sal, the Grand Canyon was almost a letdown...almost.

We got some fantastic photos from our trip, and hopefully, we'll come back next year to tour the Valley of Fire!  Matt and Sal will need the time to get ready for us again!

Hi Donna,

You may remember us - we booked the Grand Canyon Total Experience and were ready to go late Feb this year and my girlfriend was ill on the day.  You were very understanding and managed to fit us in on the Thursday for a Grand Canyon 4 for 1 tour.  Our guide for the day was Julian and even though it was raining and windy he still gave us a great day out.  He was very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating.

We do apologise for having to cancel on the Tuesday but Lesley wasn't well enough at all to take a helicopter ride.  Anyway we are planning to return to Las Vegas this autumn as we enjoyed our first time there so much, and we will be in contact with you to book another tour of the canyon.

I was in Las Vegas on Monday and took the Grand Canyon West Rim tour with Matt Holes.
I had such a good time on the tour.  Matt was a great guide,very knowledgeable a great person to spend time with.  I was the only one in our group not to do the helicopter ride and Matt showed my some great views while we waited for the others.  I was not that impressed with Las
Vegas and the Grand Canyon just made my trip.  That will be something I will always remember. 

I was also surprised at how good lunch was.  I had the vegetable sandwich. The bread was fresh and the vegetables were crunchy.  I did not even need to use the mayo or mustard included with the sandwich. 

I originally picked another tour to take from all the brochures the hotel gave me but they were full.  I was the one that lucked out with getting your tour.

Hello Donna,

I apologize for not getting in touch with you.  I had every intention of writing as soon as I got home. 

Everyone loved "Bread" as the seven year old called him.  Although Grandpa couldn't understand a thing he was saying, he complimented Brett on being a very good driver and appreciated it when Brett helped him clean his pants and shoes off after the big black dog at the ranch hiked his hind leg on him.  Grandpa took it all in stride but I bet two to one odds that his granddaughter will never let him forget it! She laughs hysterically every time she tells the story.

Brett taught the girls songs and gave them all equal time on the trip and although we were running a little later than maybe Brett wanted to be, he stopped at the chocolate factory for the girls to get ice cream.  This was their first experience on a dirt road which they enjoyed very
much and likened it somewhat to a roller coaster ride.  There are no big dips in the roads here in Japan.

Anyway, thank you very much for the special arrangements and helping to make this a memorable event for everyone. The 10th passenger was our  oldest son who is a history major and he enjoyed Brett's commentary on everything that we saw.  Brett gave us details especially on Hoover Dam that we hadn't heard before.

Should I make it back to Vegas with another group, I will be sure and give you a call.

I am writing to compliment your company on its scenic SUV trips to the GrandCanyon. I was on holiday in Las Vegas last week and took one of your tours (the 4-1 trip) on Monday 22nd March. I had intended to do a helicopter trip but Iım a wheelchair user and discovered that it would have been difficult to get in and out of the helicopter, as the pilots are not allowed to assist in transferring into the helicopters. Although I had a friend accompanying me, it would have been difficult and I decided against doing the trip. I have done several helicopter trips in various countries and been helped on board by ground crew, so was surprised at this in Vegas. However, rules are rules. This perhaps should be pointed out to disabled people who are
enquiring about doing helicopter trips, as it was only stated after I enquired about accessing the helicopter. But, I wish to thank your company, and our guide on the day, Mike (Worden?).
I am so glad I did this trip as it was an unbelievable experience; one that will never be forgotten. I was disappointed to not be able to do the helicopter trip but this SUV experience more than made up for it. Plus, everyone you speak to who visits the Canyon always says Œoh yes, we did the helicopter tripı but how many have travelled into the Canyon along the
trails? Itıs a unique experience plus as these are only recent additions to experiencing the Canyon we have an advantage over friends in doing it. As mentioned, I am confined to a wheelchair and was apprehensive transferring into your vehicles, as they are high. However, with my friendıs assistance, plus Mike and another passenger on the trip, I was able to get
in and out of the vehicle at certain stages of the trip. It was a struggle getting in and out but thanks to the assistance given I managed to do this. I am so grateful that I was able to get out, especially at the picnic sight on the Canyon floor. It was hard to believe I was there and I kept saying to myself, ŒI am sitting alongside the river, inside the Canyon!ı It would have
been so frustrating to have been unable to get out of the SUV at such a stunning location.

Just wanted to say what a fabulous day we had on the Grand Canyon 4 for 1 tour on 3rd March.  The day was just perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.  The scenery, the views, the locations and the service surpassed our expectations.

My husband and I toured the Grand Canyon&Hoover Dam one week ago and we are still in awe of our excursion.  Thanks to our highly knowledgeable tour guide, Julian, Jeff and I received "first class" treatment.  With only one other couple in the Suburban, we had the pleasure of a private driver accommodating our every need.  Spending nine hours with a stranger can be a daunting experience, but Julian set a comfortable tone from the "get-go."  Julian enhanced the magnificent sights with a spirit of adventure coupled with consideration of his passengers.

I took the 4 for 1 tour on Saturday, May 24, 2003 and loved it.  Hats off to Jeff (Lithuanian last name?) who was well informed and talked the whole 13 hours while driving flawlessly from wonderful site to wonderful site.  I also appreciated the comfortable vehicle especially since much of the ride was on unpaved roads.  I would do it again in a flash as long as Jeff gets some new jokes.  Very enjoyable and I would recommend this trip to anyone wanting to see a
lot, learn about the geology of the land, and take pictures.  Deanna W

We are now safe and sound back in the UK with the rain lashing the windows as usual (no drought here I am afraid).

I would like you to pass our regards and thanks for a wonderful and memorable day on to 'Cowboy Dave' and the other guys whose names I cannot recall (one was a gentleman from New Zealand and the other gentleman seemed to have a liking for the prospect of eating crickets without the legs of course ((a taste not shared by the rest of us)), therefore I am sure they know who I am talking about).

One question which could be asked of Dave would be how come 77 year old 'Rosie' could still read her book without missing a line while he was driving off road or for that matter how could two passengers manage to go to sleep? Obviously not quite the rough rider he thinks he is.

If I come across any more good Lateral thinking problems I will be sure to pass them on for Dave's attention.

Special thanks to Dave our driver & tour guide who kept us entertained throughout the whole day!  He has a vast knowledge of all the points of interest, surrounding areas, plant & animal life & is an excellent driver & story teller & great fun!

We were all dead impressed with the whole trip - the hoover dam unbelievable feat of engineering, the helicopter ride down into the canyon just amazing and so exciting, the boat trip up the colorado river so calming with spectacular views, a great lunch on the rim & a trek around to walk it off, courtesy of Franco the other driver who was also brilliant! Great fun at the ranch riding out on the horses and watching the gun fight - a real fun packed day & one we'll never forget....

We're so pleased we decided to see the Grand Canyon with Adventure Photo Tours in this way - it was a hard decision to make for a trip of a lifetime when there are so many options to choose from! We definitely made the right choice.

I just wanted to write to tell you that our day with Don, on Feb 6, 2003, was an exceptionally great day.  My wife and I travel quite a bit, and he was the best tour guide we've ever had.  His knowledge of the history, folklore and geology of the area was wonderful.  I couldn't have asked for better.  I found myself asking more questions than I have ever asked from a guide, and Don had the answers.  I felt like I was driving around with a friend who knew a lot about the area rather than being led around by someone whose knowledge comes from a company brochure.  I will and have recommend this tour and Don to anyone I know who is going your way, and the next time I'm in Las Vegas, I'll try to book another tour with you.  Your tour was definitely the highlight of our trip.

I just had to drop you a line to tell you that the Valley of Fire was worth every penny.  It is just a remarkable place and I managed to take some photographs that I was really pleased with for my wall.

I must be getting old . . . I cannot remember the guide's name to save me.  He was awesome!  Don't let him get away from you.  Not only was he extremely pleasant to be with and capable but he knew the history of the area, the geology and the Indian culture and you could feel his passion for it in his voice and mannerisms.  For me personally, he really added significantly to the tour.  Whatever you are paying him, it isn't enough.

Thanks God, we did join the tour finally on 15.9.00.  It's the most unforgettable tour in our US trip.  We had Don, the nice and humourous guy as our tour guide.  He is very nice and rich in knowledge.

During our Canyon Tour, Don told us much about the background history of the Canyon, the geography about the place and the plants there.  We are surprised that he knew so much and he was very patient in answering our questions.  Besides, Don was very kind and nice.  In short, we are very satisfied with the tour and we like Don very much.  We and Don are friends now.  If you can see Don, please say Hello to him for us.  Please tell him

I have never been on a tour where I have felt so relaxed with the tour guide and he so knowledgeable. Phil was most pleased to meet you when we stopped at the airport on the reservation. We had a most memorable experience and one we will never forget.

On the 7th October we took a trip with yourselves to the Grand Canyon. We were escorted by Don Smiler. The trip was perfect and I would like to put in writing our delight to have such a pleasant and well informed guide.

The whole journey was made fascinating by Don's seemingingly bottomless font of knowledge about the area. He left us with a unforgettable memory...and oh yes I managed to get great photos.

We went the Valley of Fire tour during our stay in Las Vegas and it was excellent, our guide on that day was Bill Monks and he was brilliant with all his knowledge. This was a great trip and we will have no hesitation in suggesting this tour to other friends who happen to visit Las Vegas.

The day before we went in our hotel we were given a large tourist magazine for some convention and there was an article on your company which rated you very highly, this gave us comfort before we set out that morning.

Thanks once again for the bottle of bubbly to celebrate our anniversary which we shared with the rest of our travellers that day.
